[10 Aug 2005|12:13am] Today I bought Infinity Gauntlet in trade paperback. It’s good to have those six issues collected in one volume. Of course, the significance of my own role in this particular affair can only be understood by one who has read the relevent issues of Silver Surfer vol. 3. While I was not a central figure as Adam Warlock, Thanos of Titan, or his grand-daughter Nebula were, I was intimately involved. I think that there's an excellent chance that Susan will play a very strong role in this film – she is one of the few people I know who would be brave enough and determined enough to face Doom by herself. Sexually. Think about this. In an infinite universe, a star-faring species will have a plethora of exotic worlds to visit, each home to beautiful and alluring beings... Why would they come to Alabama to "abduct" a lazy-eyed, overweight human with a nose like the Crab Nebula? Trust me on this – if the people interviewed on these shows really have had sexual contact with alien life, it's the aliens who have been violated. post comment

And of course Hulk has his own movie (which would have been better if the first half had less talking and more "Hulk smash!" in my opinion). Which is great, of course.
