Bio| Once I was Norrin Radd, a scientist of the planet Zenn-La. To save my world... and my love, Shalla-Bal... from the hunger of the Devourer of Worlds, I sacrificed my very identity to become the Herald of Galactus. I swore to find planets to sate the Devourer’s cosmic hunger, and he transformed me into my current silver-skinned form. Galactus granted me the power to control and direct cosmic energies, with enough force to destroy a city. For a time, I found worlds for the Devourer and led him to them... thus causing the deaths of billions of innocent sapients. But after leading my master to Earth, a blind woman named Alicia Masters revived the soul within my cold silver shell. I turned against Galactus and refused to supply his world-devouring appetite. For this betrayal my master confined me to the Earth. Eventually I escaped to soar the starways once more... but from time to time I find myself returning to this beautiful blue globe. |  |
